Muscle Memory

I had heard of the use of the term "muscle memory" at some
time in the
past and went to two medical searches (Physicians on
Line-Medline and
NIH-Medline) to find references. Back through the 80s there
were none.
That however does not mean the term or function does not
exist.
I think it should be pointed out, again, that what may apply
to one or a
few patients under special conditions is not necessarily
applicable to
the larger number. In this case gaining 7 lbs in three weeks
in most
dialysis patients, particularly if they are not exercising,
should not
be assumed to be dry weight but rather fluid weight.
